This set of slides shows how I prepared my 'No Dig' trial beds, basically I am preparing all of my growing beds in the same way, because it means I can grow straight into them and not have to worry too much about watering at least for the first year.
The technique is based on a permaculture method of layering material on top of the cardboard;
I usually use well rotted animal manure as the first layer followed by straw, a layer of seaweed, some spent coffee grounds, leaves and then a layer of soil followed by some compost.

This is a link to the final report I created which includes all the details of the trial together with the results, charts and stats.
